Carmella Ann Gazzano — our Carmie — came into this world and filled every room with light. In just a year and a half, she gave us more love, more laughter, and more joy than words can ever capture.

She had a smile that could stop you in your tracks and a giggle that made the whole world feel a little warmer. She loved being held, being sung to, and watching the world around her with those big, curious eyes.

When Carmella passed, she left behind a family forever changed — and a community that rallied around them with open arms. It was in that outpouring of love that Carmie Cares was born.

Carmie Cares exists because of Carmella — and because of the belief that her short life deserves to ripple outward into something lasting and beautiful.

Every event we host, every dollar we raise, and every act of kindness we inspire is a way of saying: she mattered. She still matters. And her memory will keep doing good in this world for years to come.
